Jenna Batchelder

QA Analyst at Retrieve

Jenna Batchelder has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Jenna began their career as a Cashier/Barista at the University Center Humboldt State in 2014. In 2016, they were a Summer Intern at the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary (GFNMS), where they were responsible for photo documentation of education programs, afterschool programs, areas, parks, wildlife, and recreation within the sanctuary. Jenna also created a new management system for the tracking and organization of the photo journalism for the sanctuary. That same year, they were a Research Assistant at the Vivamar Society for Marine Mammal Research, where they worked with a diverse group of international students and researchers to observe bottlenose dolphin behavior in the NE Adriatic Sea. In 2017, they were an After School Paraprofessional at Arcata Elementary School & Sunny Brae Middle School After School Programs, and a Capstone Project – Service Learning Project at Arcata Elementary School, Environment Education. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Childcare Provider and Day camp Unit Leader at YMCA Camp Campbell, and as a Behavior Specialist at Balance Santa Cruz County. In 2021, they have been a QA Analyst at Retrieve Technologies, Inc., a Graphic Design Apprentice at MentureME, and a Graphic Design Intern at Megan Victor Realty.

Jenna Batchelder attended Humboldt State University from 2013 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies.
