Lars Farstad

Lars Farstad has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Their most recent position was as the Head of UX Design at Retriever, where they were responsible for leading the user experience design team. Prior to that, Lars worked as a UX Lead and a Front-End Developer & UX Designer at the same company.

Before Retriever, Lars worked at The Good Guys as a Lead Front-End Developer, where they played a key role in creating high-fidelity prototypes and implementing a new design system. Lars also worked as a UX Designer & Front-End Developer, where they collaborated closely with the lead UX designer and mentored junior developers.

Lars also has experience working at G Media Pty Ltd as a Lead Web Designer & Scrum Master, where they worked on a web development Scrum team and built a new CMS. Lars also worked as a Web Designer, creating mock-ups and design templates for dynamic pages.

Prior to that, Lars worked at TradeDoubler as a Product Development Manager & UI Designer, where they were responsible for defining and prioritizing features and improvements for a service called td Pull. Lars also worked as a Publisher Manager, managing relationships with clients and creating marketing material.

Lars started their career at Akili AS as a Co-Founder & Web Designer, where they played a crucial role in brand development, concept design, and site development.

Lars Farstad completed their education at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) from 2000 to 2003.
