Shannon MacDowell is a seasoned product manager and designer with extensive experience in the water sports industry. Currently serving as the Product Manager for Water at Retrospec since August 2022, Shannon leads market research initiatives and product strategy development. Previous roles include Product Development Manager, where design and development of a diverse range of inflatable water products were managed, and a consultant specializing in product redesign strategies. As a co-founder of Bluemonic, Shannon focuses on innovative and sustainable safety products for marine sectors. Additional experience includes guiding and instructing in kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, alongside positions in fitness training and corporate partnerships. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rutgers University.
