David Hughen

David Hughen, MSOD, PCC, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Coach, and Strategic HR Advisor at AustinWorkNet, where the focus is on delivering creative solutions for organizational performance enhancement. As a co-founder of The Leadership Trap, David collaborates with Dr. Kris Potrafka to guide leaders in recognizing and navigating leadership challenges. David's extensive experience includes co-founding Austin's HR Round Table and serving on the Leadership Circle of Communities In Schools-Central Texas, Inc. David previously co-founded and led Austin HR, providing comprehensive HR solutions until its acquisition by Asure Software in 2018. Notable roles include strategic HR consulting at Bridgepoint Consulting, and executive leadership positions at ClearCommerce and Exterprise during their significant growth phases. David holds a Master's of Science in Human Resources and Organization Development, along with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Resources and Organization Behavior from the University of San Francisco, and completed an Executive Coaching Certification Program at Columbia University.
