Ryan Spong is a retail food executive and entrepreneur with a diverse background in technology and food services. After completing an MBA at the University of Toronto in 2003, Ryan founded Mainstreet Advisors and raised substantial capital for various companies, taking on roles as CEO and CFO. As co-founder of Tacofino and Superbaba, Ryan has successfully expanded these restaurant brands, while also leading Foodee as CEO until its acquisition by Sodexo in 2021. Currently, Ryan serves as SVP of Retail Food Strategy and Corporate Development at Sodexo USA and holds advisory positions with Reusables.com and Sipply. Ryan is recognized as one of the most influential people in BC for 2022 and 2023 and advocates for accessible employment through board membership with The Presidents Group.
