Andrew Macaskill is an experienced journalist with a strong background in political and general news reporting. Currently serving as the UK political correspondent at Reuters since September 2014, Andrew has also covered UK banking and general news, as well as Indian politics during tenure at Bloomberg LP from September 2008 to September 2014. Additional reporting experience includes a role as an investigations reporter focused on India and UK banking at Bloomberg LP, and earlier, a position as a sub-editor at China Daily - 21st Century. Andrew holds a Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Bath.
