Matt Gordon

Matt Gordon is the Director, Data & Infrastructure at Rev.io. Matt has over 13 years of experience working with databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, and has been involved in designing and administering mission-critical applications.

Prior to joining Rev.io, Matt was an Architect at Insight from March 2019 to October 2020. Matt was responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that met the business needs of the company.

Before Insight, Matt worked as a Data Platform Solution Architect at DMI (Digital Management, LLC) from April 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they designed and implemented data solutions for clients in a variety of industries.

Matt began their career as a Senior Consultant at Pragmatic Works in October 2015. Matt worked with clients to provide expert guidance on database design and administration. Matt also assisted with database performance tuning and troubleshooting.

From January 2007 to September 2015, Matt was the Database Architect for Custom Data Processing. Matt was responsible for designing and implementing a Microsoft SQL Server-based application that processed WIC benefits for participants in several states. As the product matured, they focused on enterprise-level hardware and software design to ensure consistent performance for clients.

Matt Gordon earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Clemson University. Matt is certified by Microsoft as an MCSE in Data Management and Analytics (2017) and as an MCSE in Data Management and Analytics (2016). Matt is also certified by Microsoft as an MCSA in SQL Server 2012 and as an MCPS in Microsoft Certified Professional. In addition, they are a Certified ScrumMaster.

Matt Gordon reports to James Phillips, CIO. They are on a team with Josh Higginbotham - VP, Data, Todd Lyman - Director, Data Analytics.
