Amber Rowe

Amber Rowe possesses extensive experience in promoting inclusion and diversity, primarily through roles at the Department of Corrections NZ since 2017, currently serving as Lead Adviser Disability. Key responsibilities include advancing the Disability Action Plan for tāngata whaikaha Māori and disabled individuals in prisons. Previous positions include Senior Adviser Inclusion and Diversity and roles focusing on case management and practice leadership. Additionally, Amber has experience in direct care for children and young adults with disabilities and has held various customer service and management roles across different organizations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from The University of Auckland and a Diploma in Applied Psychology from The Open Polytechnic.
