Austin Applegate

Austin Applegate has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Austin is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Revaluate since June 2022. Prior to this, they were the owner of Grumpy Fish LLC, a family-owned business focused on handmade fishing jigs. From June 2020 to May 2023, Austin worked as a Lead Software Manager at Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp., where they were responsible for managing the engineering team and implementing version control systems. Austin also worked as a Software Design Engineer at the same company from May 2019 to May 2023, playing a key role in designing and implementing a new software architecture. In addition, they briefly served as a Technical Project Lead from February 2020 to June 2020. Earlier in their career, Austin worked as a Software Engineer at BK Technologies from April 2015 to April 2019, where they developed public safety products and collaborated with sales teams. Austin also gained experience in quality engineering automation at RSA, The Security Division of EMC from June 2013 to April 2015. Furthermore, Austin worked for the City of Lawrence, KS as a Building Attendant and Softball Complex Supervisor from May 2010 to May 2013, where they managed events and ensured smooth operations at the sports complex.
