Phillip Richardson

Phillip Richardson is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Associate Principal Engineer at Revamp Engineering, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Phillip held multiple leadership roles at HDR from October 2013 to March 2023, including System Protection and Studies Practice Leader, where responsibilities included the development and direction of HDR's Power Delivery System Protection and Studies Practice group. Phillip's earlier experience includes managerial and engineering positions at Xcel Energy from January 2006 to October 2013, as well as roles at Alabama Power Company from May 2002 to January 2006, and a co-op position at US Steel - Fairfield Works from November 2000 to December 2001. Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing studies in 2001.
