Tyler Nelson

President at Revamp Engineering

Tyler Nelson is the current president at Revamp Engineering. Tyler has over fifteen years of experience as an electrical engineer, with a focus on solar design. Tyler has worked on projects ranging up to 265MW for detailed construction design, feasibility reports and design reviews.

In 2009, Tyler became the group lead for electrical engineering at SunPower Corporation. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians, as well as overseeing the design and implementation of solar power systems. Tyler also provided support to Caribbean utilities with energy resources and feasibility studies for future development.

In 2005, Tyler began their career as an electrical engineer at WSP Flack + Kurtz. Tyler worked on a variety of projects, including the design of electrical systems for commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Tyler also performed calculations for energy production, cable sizing (NEC and Etap), short-circuit analysis, arc-flash analysis, and relay protection.

Tyler Nelson is currently pursuing a BS in Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.
