Materials Manager at Revasum

John Jacobs has over 30 years of experience in the materials management industry. John began their career in 1983 as a B1-A bomber Flight Test Instrumentation Technician at Edwards Airforce Base. From 1983 to 1987, they served as a B1-B bomber Final Assembly Supervisor at Plant 42 Palmdale California, where they supervised personnel engaged in final assembly electrical installations. In 1987, they moved to Rantec Power Systems, where they worked as a Production Supervisor/Planner, supervising personnel engaged in manufacturing power supplies for commercial and military applications and planning production work flow through the use of MRP reports. From 1997 to 2017, they worked at Strasbaugh as a Materials Manager, managing personnel engaged in materials planning, purchasing, and warehousing of inventory and production control, as well as providing support to both the sales and R&D departments. Currently, John Jacobs is a Materials Manager at Revasum.

John Jacobs attended Antelope Valley College from 1975 to 1979, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. From 1983 to 1987, they attended Rockwell International. Finally, from 2000 to 2003, they attended APICS, where they studied Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
