Eric Woodard

Dr. Woodard is the Chief of Neurosurgery at The New England Baptist Hospital where he oversees the Neurosurgery department and the associated fellowship program. He is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Joint section of the AANS/CNS for Spine and Peripheral nerve. He has also served extensively over the last 18 years as faculty, Board member, foundation trustee, and Chairman of the board of AOSpine North America. Dr. Woodard has been a member of the editorial board for The Journal of Spinal Disorders & Techniques and Spine Universe and is a reviewer for The New England Journal of Medicine and Neurosurgery. Dr. Woodard earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, and completed his neurological surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta.
