Jose Rivera

Jose Rivera has over 10 years of professional experience in the Information Technology and Information Security fields. Jose began their career in 2008 as a Technical Support Representative at Accenture. In 2009, they became the General Manager of The Mug Coffee, a coffee house dedicated to providing a great customer experience. In 2010, they joined Meloire as an Information Technology Consultant, providing continuous support for IT activities and Account Management. In 2013, they took on the role of IT Support Administrator at the Cámara de Comercio de la Ciudad de México (Canaco CDMX). In 2014, they became an Information Security Consultant at KIO Networks, where they were in charge of administrative coordination and improvement of overall security operations of major government health institutions. In 2017, they joined Atos as an Information Security Consultant, where they were responsible for migration of SOC services from Bangalore to Mexico City, process improvement and re engineering for Service Desk and Vulnerability Management, and training for Malware Analysis and Security Compliance. In 2018, they took on the role of Information Security Consultant at Banco Sabadell, where they interacted directly with partners for sales and infrastructure enhancement, generated documentation regarding processes and procedures, and communicated with providers to improve appliance services and control SLA's and KPI's. In 2019, they became the Head of Information Security at Rever, Inc, where they were responsible for the generation of Information Security strategies, coordination of information security certifications, and improvement and enhancement of security operations.

Jose Rivera obtained their Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Informatica in Seguridad informática y de sistemas from Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería y Ciencias Sociales y Administrativas between 2009 and 2013. In 2014, they obtained their ITIL Foundations V3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2016, they obtained their Certified Incident Handler from EC-Council. Finally, in 2017, they obtained their EFSET EXPRESS High Proficiency (CEFR C2) from EF Education First.
