Patrick Dugan has been in the IT industry for over 20 years. Patrick began their career in 2000 as an IT Consultant for Digital Support, providing comprehensive remote and onsite support for customers, including support for LAN/WAN products. In 2003, they joined Central Piedmont Community College as Executive Director of Technology Infrastructure Services, responsible for strategic planning and production support of all voice, data and networking operations of all college campuses. During their time there, they designed, budgeted, planned and led the migration of CPCC's data center, which included the replacement of networking, compute, security and storage systems. Patrick also acted as a technical lead for network administration, led the implementation of a complete network infrastructure overhaul for CPCC's multi-campus network, and introduced the OSI model, network topologies, IP addressing with subnet masks, simple routing techniques, and basic switching terminology. In 2005, they took on a Network Design role with the League for Innovation in the Community College. In 2010, they became an Independent Consultant for Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Finally, in 2016, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Reverus.
Patrick Dugan attended Central Piedmont Community College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Network Management and Support. Patrick then attended Eastern Carolina University from 2004 to 2006, studying Network and System Administration/Administrator.
