Mark Cobbold is the Senior Vice President of IO Discovery & Cell Therapy Oncology at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2024. They served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard University from 2015 to 2019 and have co-founded several companies, including GigaMune, Revitope, and Gritstone Oncology. Previously, they held roles as a Reader in Translational Immunology at the University of Birmingham and as VP of Oncology Early Discovery at AstraZeneca from 2019 to 2024. Mark earned a PhD in Immunology / Immunotherapy from the University of Birmingham between 2000 and 2003.
