Werner Meier

Prior to joining Revitope, Werner was Vice President of Biologics Drug Discovery, at Biogen Inc., where he was responsible for developing therapeutic protein drug candidates. Werner led a large team of scientists with responsibilities for the design, expression, characterization and development transition of over two dozen novel protein therapeutics that included antibodies and their derivatives, receptor-Ig fusion proteins and bispecific antibodies. As Program Director for two development programs aimed at treating immunologic and neurological diseases, he successfully guided the programs through preclinical development and manufacturing into early clinical studies. Werner is a member of the Scientific boards of Applied BioMath and the Institute for Protein Innovation.
