Max Bykov is a software engineer with extensive experience in developing banking and e-commerce applications. Currently working at Revolut since June 2025, Max previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Wio Bank from August 2022 to June 2025. Prior to that, Max served as Development Team Lead at Sberbank from October 2018 to August 2022, contributing to the PosCredit application, which facilitates online credit access for customers on major Russian e-commerce platforms. Max began the career as a Middle Java Developer and later as a Junior Java Developer at Technoserv consulting, where a project for HR management was successfully created. Max holds a Master’s Degree in Automated Orientation, Stabilization, and Navigation Systems from the Moscow Aviation Institute, earned between 2008 and 2017.
