Jason Tyler has a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on front-end development and JavaScript application architecture. Jason has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Developer/Designer at Midwest Pension & Profit Sharing Services, Inc. from 2008 to 2010, where they led the architecture direction for the web team and established code standards for ongoing maintenance projects. Jason then transitioned to a Web Developer position at Midwest Pension and Profit Sharing Services from 2008 to 2010, where they directed and collaborated with a team to create deployment plans and established code standards for client-facing and internal web properties.

In 2010, Jason joined The Nerdery as a Designer/Lead Front-End Developer and worked on challenging projects, becoming efficient in collaborating with a team of developers. Jason then became a Senior Front-End Developer from 2014 to 2015 and was eventually promoted to a Principal Software Engineer from 2015 to 2021.

Following their time at The Nerdery, Jason joined Dayforward as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2021 to October 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Principal Software Engineer at RevUnit, starting in October 2021. Overall, Jason has a strong software engineering background and has gained extensive experience in front-end development and JavaScript application architecture throughout their career.

Jason Tyler completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Interactive Media Design from The Art Institutes International Minnesota, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including Back End Development and APIs from freeCodeCamp in January 2023, JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from freeCodeCamp in January 2022, and Professional Cloud Developer from Google Cloud in September 2022.
