Chris Lowe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Currently serving as a Business Development Partner and Site Leader at Revvity since December 2021, Chris has previously held prominent roles at Horizon Discovery from April 2011 to January 2023, including Head of Technology & Innovation and Head of Research Operations, managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver translational research services. With a background that includes leadership in R&D, Chris has focused on gene editing technologies and their applications in pre-clinical drug discovery. Previous roles also include Director at Avvinity Therapeutics and research positions at the University of Cambridge and NIAB. Chris holds an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Medical Genetics from the same institution, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Hull.
