David Sorrell is an experienced professional in the field of molecular biology and cell-based screening. Currently serving as the Director of Cell-Based Screening at Revvity since May 2023, Sorrell previously held similar leadership roles at Horizon Discovery from March 2011 to May 2023, where responsibilities included Director and Manager of High Throughput Screening, along with Team Leader duties. Prior to this, Sorrell was a Research Associate in the Molecular Therapeutics Programme at the University of Cambridge from 2009 to 2011 and worked as a Senior Scientist at Cyclacel Ltd. from 2005 to 2008. Additional experience includes postdoctoral research positions at Hannah Research Institute and Cardiff University between 1999 and 2005. Sorrell earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from Cardiff University.
