Principal Software Engineer at Revvity

Mike Bryant has over 30 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Mike started their career in 1985 as a Programmer Analyst at Macbeth, where they developed software for analyzing color spectra. Mike then worked at Agfa as a Software Engineer, where they developed a Windows-based interface for a film recorder. In 1995, Mike joined Packard BioScience, which was later purchased by PerkinElmer, as a Sr. Software Engineer. During their time there, they worked on multiple projects, including Fusion, a Windows software for a micro plate reader, and Real-time PCR. In 2001, Mike transitioned to the role of a Principal Software Engineer at PerkinElmer, where they contributed to the development of software for controlling the JANUS liquid handling robot and Tri-Carb systems. Mike also worked on the creation of SpectraWorks2 and QuantaSmart. Overall, Mike has a strong background in software development, GUI design, and enhancing functionality of scientific software applications.

Mike Bryant earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute between 1982 to 1984. Mike also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in May 2013.
