Robert Blassberg is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Principal Scientist at Revvity since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist at Horizon Discovery from August 2020 to May 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute from April 2015 to August 2020. At The Francis Crick Institute, Robert led research on WNT signaling during embryonic development, employing advanced genome engineering and genomic analysis techniques. Additionally, Robert contributed to investigations of a neurodevelopmental disorder during a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute for Medical Research from February 2012 to March 2015. Early research experience includes a Research Fellowship at the University of Nottingham, focusing on RNA interference and transcription factor regulation. Robert holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from UCL and a BSc in Genetics from The University of Sheffield.
