Simon Scrace

Simon Scrace is an experienced professional in the fields of functional genomics and cell-based assay development, currently serving as Director of Functional Genomics and Cell Panel Screening at Revvity since May 2023. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at Horizon Discovery from October 2013 to May 2023, including Director of Cell Based Assays and Manager of Functional Genomic Screening. Simon's early career includes a Post Doctoral Researcher role at the University of Oxford, where research focused on signaling pathways in cancer, and previous experience as an Associate Scientist at Vernalis, contributing to structure-based drug design projects. Simon earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Radiobiology from the University of Oxford and a postgraduate diploma in Leadership Practice from The Open University, alongside an MBioChem in Biochemistry from the University of Bath.
