Chester Gan is currently the Asia Programme Manager at Re:wild, where they focus on regional conservation efforts. Previously, they served as the Senior Manager for Oceans and Nature Based Solutions at WWF-Singapore, leading the implementation of a comprehensive Marine Programme strategy. Chester also held various positions at WWF-Singapore, developing and managing marine conservation projects. They have a Master’s degree in Marine Environments and Resources from Universidad del País Vasco and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from the National University of Singapore, where they achieved First Class Honours. Additionally, Chester contributed as a Conference Coordinator at the National University of Singapore and as a researcher for National Geographic.
