Janice Chanson currently serves as the Species Assessment and Australasia Manager at Re:wild since January 2020, bringing extensive expertise in environmental science and education. Prior experience includes working as an Independent Consultant in Environmental Consulting from January 2009 to October 2023, and as a Teacher at Kedron State High School from January 2018 to December 2019. Janice held the role of Director of Data Management and Analysis at the IUCN/CI Biodiversity Assessment Unit from June 2001 to October 2009. Educational qualifications encompass a Graduate Diploma in Education from Queensland University of Technology in 2017, an MRes in Environmental Science from University College London from 1999 to 2000, and a BSc(Hons) in Astrophysics from the University of Melbourne obtained between 1991 and 1994.
