Kelsey Neam is a conservation professional with extensive experience in biodiversity assessments and species prioritization. Currently serving as Species Priorities and Metrics Coordinator and Biodiversity Assessments Coordinator at Re:wild since November 2015, Kelsey also holds the position of IUCN Red List Assessments Program Officer with the IUCN SSC Amphibian Specialist Group. Key responsibilities include updating amphibian assessments, conducting research on new species, and supporting National and Regional Working Groups. Kelsey has previously contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University, where instruction focused on mammalian ecology, and has interned with organizations like the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the Ocean Mammal Institute, gaining hands-on experience with wildlife tracking and research. Kelsey holds a Master of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland.
