Nathan Yang

Nathan Yang is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the Product Security Tooling Team at Slack, focusing on enhancing security through automated solutions and vulnerability management. With a diverse background in web consulting for Re:wild, Nathan has overseen the operation of over 20 websites and improved performance metrics significantly. Prior to Slack, Nathan built the Vulnerability Management Team at Twitter and led the development of a subscription management platform at PlayStation. Early career experiences include a software engineering role at Appian Corporation and a systems administrator position at the University of Maryland. Nathan holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
