Josh Steinberg

Josh Steinberg is an Earth systems scientist with extensive experience in subsurface geoscience, ocean processes, and carbon management. Josh has held significant positions including VP of Exploration & Geosciences at Ratio Energies, where they led projects in the Leviathan natural gas field, and currently serves as a Scientific Advisor at Gigablue and as Senior Scientist for geology and methodology at Rewind. Josh co-founded the Israel Carbon Sequestration Forum and is currently the Head of MRV and Carbon Management at CarbonBlue. Josh earned a Ph.D. in Geological and Earth Sciences from The Hebrew University, where they also completed a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
