Ram Amar has a strong work experience in various roles and industries. Ram is currently the CEO of Rewind since 2022. Before that, they were a Climate Action Leader at NZO from 2018 to 2022, where they co-founded a political advocacy project focused on setting emission reduction targets in Israel. Prior to that, Ram was a Co-Founder and Chief Architect at Alooma (acquired by Google) from 2012 to 2018, where they played multiple roles, including working with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
Earlier in their career, Ram was the Head of Research at C4 Security (Acquired by Elbit Systems) from 2011 to 2013, where they managed research projects and designed security products. Ram also served in the IDF - Israel Defence Forces, where they held various positions such as a Software Project Manager, Director of Recruiting & Training, and Instructor in the Talpiot Program. Additionally, Ram co-founded Magshimim, a computer science education program for high school students, from 2009 to 2011. Throughout their career, Ram has demonstrated leadership, entrepreneurial skills, and expertise in technology, research, and sustainability.
Ram Amar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2000 and 2003.
