Dave North

Dave North has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple companies. Dave started their career at ISOTRO Network Management as a Technical Support Engineer, where they provided product training, professional services, and technical support. Dave then moved on to Bay Networks, where they worked as a Sr. Support Engineer and later became the Technical Support Manager for the "NetID" product. At Nortel Networks, Dave served as a Sustaining Engineering Manager and Software Development Manager, leading teams and managing projects related to IP address management. Dave joined Signiant as a Corporate SE, providing pre-sales and post-sales services to customers. Dave also held the role of Agile Product Owner and later became the Technical Support Manager, where they managed a support team and implemented various systems and processes. Dave joined Trend Micro as a Senior Development Manager, focusing on sustaining engineering. At Signiant, in their first tenure, Dave served as the DevOps Manager and Director of DevOps, responsible for load build, continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring. Dave'sresponsibilities included designing and implementing various systems and tools to improve efficiency and security. In their current role at Rewind, Dave is the VP of Cloud Operations. Dave previously held the positions of Director of Technical Operations and Cloud Architect/Devops Ninja. Dave has made significant contributions to the company's infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing security measures, and developing innovative solutions. Dave North completed their education at Brock University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Dave attended the university from 1991 to 1996.
