Evan Salter

Evan Salter has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Evan started their career as a Software Developer Intern at Vendasta in 2016, where they quickly grew and became a mentor for other interns. After completing their internship, Evan returned to Vendasta in 2018 as a Software Developer. Over the next two and a half years, they gained valuable experience and moved up the ranks within the company.

In late 2020, Evan was given the opportunity to start their own team at Vendasta, focusing on e-commerce solutions. Evan became the team lead and main technical architect, managing the team and its sprints. Their responsibilities included performing technical investigations, mentoring team members, and working with part-time project managers. Some notable projects Evan and their team worked on included client-facing storefronts, shopping cart and checkout experiences, client-facing invoice solutions, and credit card processing.

In 2021, Evan joined Rewind as a Senior Software Developer, showcasing their expertise and skills in the field.

Evan Salter obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan. Evan attended the university from 2013 to 2018. In November 2019, they also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance.
