Michelle Crane, PhD

Michelle Crane, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michelle currently works as a Software Development Manager at Rewind since January 2022. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at Tehama from August 2020 to January 2022, and a DevOps Senior Software Developer from April 2018 to August 2020. Michelle also worked as an Advisory Software Developer at Persistent Systems from April 2016 to March 2018. Before that, they held the same role at IBM Canada Ltd. from January 2009 to March 2016. Michelle also worked as a Research Assistant at Queen's University from September 2003 to October 2008. Additionally, they had roles as a CAS Student at IBM Canada Ltd. in 2005 and as a Transport Officer and Air Transport personnel in the Canadian Forces and Department of National Defence from 1989 to 2000.

Michelle Crane, PhD has an extensive education history in the field of Computer Science. Michelle obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Ottawa from 1988 to 1992. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Queen's University, completing it from 2000 to 2003. Michelle continued their education at Queen's University and earned their Doctorate in Computer Science from 2003 to 2009.

As for additional certifications, Michelle obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019.
