Sammi Steele

Sammi Steele, PMP has a diverse work experience. Sammi is currently the Director of Student Programs and Events at Rewriting the Code, where they started in December 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Manager of Marketing & Analysis from March 2021 to December 2021, and as the Community & Marketing Coordinator from June 2020 to March 2021.

Before joining Rewriting the Code, Sammi worked as a Student Athlete at Duke University from August 2015 to June 2020. Sammi also gained experience as an Experience Design Intern at Nike from May 2018 to August 2018, and as a Marketing Intern at NXT Sports LLC from May 2017 to August 2017.

Sammi Steele, PMP has a strong educational background in both management and visual art. In 2019, they pursued a Masters degree in Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, which they completed in 2020. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, Sammi attended Duke University where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in Visual Art.

In addition to their formal education, Sammi Steele has also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2023. This certification further strengthens their knowledge and skills in project management.
