Aharon Chernin

Aharon Chernin has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Aharon is currently the Founder and CEO of Rewst, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to Rewst, Aharon served as the CEO of Perch Security from November 2016 to September 2021. At Perch Security, Aharon led the development of the first Community Defense Platform, allowing businesses to defend against threats using industry-specific threat intelligence without purchasing specific tools or increasing staff.

Before their role at Perch Security, Aharon worked as the CTO at Soltra, a joint venture between DTCC and the FS-ISAC, from September 2014 to October 2016. Aharon also held positions at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, where they served as the Director of Information Security & Risk from June 2014 to October 2016 as well as the Director of Security Automation from August 2007 to October 2016. In these roles, they led the development of a standards-based vulnerability management program and oversaw a team of developers who created a web-based vulnerability management framework.

Aharon gained valuable experience as Vice President - Storage Area Network Deployment at JPMorgan Chase from June 2006 to August 2007. Prior to that, they worked as the Unix Systems Manager at Masonite Intl from June 1998 to June 2006, and as a Unix Administrator at South Seas Resorts from 1996 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Aharon has demonstrated expertise in information security, risk management, automation, and Unix systems. Aharon has successfully implemented innovative solutions and presented complex security concepts to senior leadership.
