REX Ortho is developing an innovative orthopaedic surgical bone fixation screw based on Surgeon led ideas and University led research. 
Screw fixation failure is a significant unmet need in orthopaedic trauma and spine surgery. The REX Screw delivers what Surgeon’s want, improved fixation performance and removability. Improved fixation performance to improve patient outcomes and Removability to de-risk the surgical procedure should a secondary trauma necessitate removal. 
Our proprietary technology is protected by 26 Granted and Validated patents. REX Ortho’s Hip Screw is at clinical stage, our Spine Screw is in development in collaboration with the leading trauma and spine Surgeon association - the AO Foundation Innovation Translation Centre (www.AOFoundation.org) and we are at concept development stage with two additional indications / applications.
