Robert Werkman

Robert Werkman is an experienced professional in industrial automation, currently serving as the Industrial Automation Services Manager at Rexel USA since July 2023. As a lecturer at San Jose State University since January 2015, Robert develops and teaches a curriculum focused on industrial automation for junior and senior-level students. Prior experience includes over 23 years at Buckles-Smith Electric, where Robert held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Automation, leading teams in sales and support of automation solutions across diverse industries. Robert began his career as a Territory Manager/Application Engineer at Western Technology Marketing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from San José State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
