Christopher Barton

Christopher Barton has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Christopher is currently working as a Software Engineer at Rezdy since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LIFELENZ as a Software Engineer from March 2019 to October 2022.

Christopher also served as an Angular/Node Developer (Contractor) at the Australian Government Department of Human Services from October 2018 to March 2019. In this role, they utilized Angular, ngrx, rxjs on the frontend and NodeJs, NestJS, and Typescript on the backend, along with CI pipelines in gitlab.

Christopher Barton had a long stint as a Consultant at Portal Australia, starting from August 2013. In this role, they provided hybrid mobile application advice and solutions to various government entities. Christopher also worked on a project involving Ionic 1.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Web Application Developer at the University of Adelaide from June 2014 to October 2018. Here, they worked with a cross-functional team using agile/scrum methodologies to deliver a Drupal 8 platform. Christopher also utilized containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

Christopher Barton began their career as a Web Developer at SA Health in September 2011. Christopher worked on large eLearning projects across health, utilizing the CodeIgniter MVC framework and HTML5/JavaScript for frontend development.

Christopher Barton attended the University of South Australia from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Arts with a focus on Multimedia.
