Derek Bailey

Derek Bailey has extensive work experience in the travel and technology industries. Derek currently works as an Account Manager at Rezdy, starting in January 2022. Before this, Derek was an AI Data Project Manager at AppTek from May 2020 to January 2022.

Prior to their role at AppTek, Derek worked at BookIt.com from April 2016 to March 2020, where they served as the Director of Sales - Activities. Before that, Derek held various positions at Destination Experience, Inc., a division of BookIt.com, Inc. From July 2013 to April 2016, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager, managing accounts in Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. From January 2012 to July 2013, Derek was a Senior Account Coordinator, overseeing the portfolio of Destination Experience accounts. Derek also served as an International Regional Coordinator from January 2010 to January 2012.

Derek's early career included an internship at Rowland Publishing, Inc. as a Student Writer for Bay Life and Emerald Coast Magazines from December 2009 to February 2010. Derek also worked at BookIt.com as a Partner Services Associate from October 2007 to January 2010, where they handled activity and service requests, provided itineraries, and verified guest information.

Derek Bailey pursued their higher education from 2008 to 2011 at Gulf Coast State College. Derek completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs during this time.
