Jeffrey Breit, Ph.D.

Jeffrey Breit, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and drug development. Jeffrey is currently Vice President of Drug Discovery and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Rezolute, Inc., a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Development at the same company from November 2020 to February 2023. From February 2019 to November 2020, they worked as the Director of Drug Substance Manufacturing Science and Technology at Rezolute, Inc.

Before joining Rezolute, Inc., Dr. Breit worked as an Independent Consultant at CADA Consulting from October 2017 to February 2019.

Jeffrey'sprevious experience also includes working at Bend Research, where they held various roles. From April 2013 to October 2017, they served as Senior Principal Scientist and led the Biologics Development Team. Prior to that, they were the Director of Inhalation and Biotherapeutic Technologies from June 2011 to May 2013. Jeffrey also worked as a Project Leader from July 2009 to June 2011 and as a Research Scientist from June 2007 to June 2009 at Bend Research.

Dr. Breit's career began at Roche, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2004 to 2007.

Jeffrey Breit, Ph.D. completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Jeffrey then pursued further academic endeavors at the Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama, where they earned their Ph.D. in Pharmacology, studying from 1999 to 2004.
