Surendra Babu

Surendra Babu has extensive work experience in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on the fertilizer and chemical industry.

From 2020, they worked as the Chief Manager (Electrical) at RAMAGUNDAM FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS LIMITED. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the electrical department, including the commissioning and maintenance of electrical equipment in various plants. Surendra also supervised the electrical activities of different sections and areas of the company.

Prior to that, from 2017 to 2020, they served as the Chief Engineer (Electrical) at BRAHMAPUTRA VALLEY FERTILIZER CORPORATION LIMITED. Here, they were in charge of the overall electrical department and monitored electrical activities through a team of engineers.

From 2011 to 2016, Surendra Babu worked as a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Tihama Power Generation. In this role, they managed projects, technology updates, audits, and plant modifications related to gas turbines and HRSGs in power plants.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Institution of Engineers (India) between 1988 and 1992. Surendra also completed a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from M.B.T.S.GOVT.POLYTECHNIC, GUNTUR from 1985 to 1988. Surendra Babu completed their secondary education at Luthern High School, Edlapadu, achieving S.S.C certification in 1985.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Surendra Babu obtained a Master of Technology certification from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in July 2004.
