Jon Ruston

Jon Ruston has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jon began their career as a Research and Knowledge Exchange Intern at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2015. Later that year, they worked briefly as a Performance Analyst Intern at British Canoeing. In 2015, they also served as an Academy Performance Analyst Intern at Charlton Athletic Football Club. In 2016, they joined Opta Sports as an In-Ground Analyst, where they stayed until 2017. Since 2017, Jon has been with RFI Global, where they have held various roles including Research Analyst, Senior Research Analyst, Lead Analyst, and Client Insights Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Insights - SME & Commercial Banking at RFI Global.

Jon Ruston completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sport Performance Analysis at Middlesex University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an upper second-class honors degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Canterbury Christ Church University between 2012 and 2015.
