Katie Yoder Simel is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the advertising and design industries. Currently serving as Creative Director at R/GA since 2016, Katie has also held roles as Associate Creative Director and Senior Art Director. Prior to R/GA, Katie contributed as a Creative at Translation LLC from 2013 to 2016, developing 360 campaigns for notable brands including DSW, Budweiser, NBA, and Champs Sports in collaboration with writing partner Katie Edmondson. Earlier experience includes a Creative Intern position at mcgarrybowen, where Katie worked on a campaign for Chase Bank, and internships at Vogue and Anthropologie focusing on graphic design and visual display, respectively. Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Visual Communications from the University of Delaware, completed in 2013.
