Akshay Kulkarni

Akshay Kulkarni has extensive experience in the field of underwriting, currently serving as the Head of Underwriting and Head of Product Underwriting for South East Asia markets at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since April 2018. Previously, Akshay held the position of Assistant Vice President at Swiss Re from September 2012 to March 2018 and Senior Manager - Underwriting at Max Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited from March 2010 to August 2012. Earlier career experience includes serving as Manager of Health Underwriting and Claims at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited from April 2006 to February 2010. Akshay's academic qualifications include a Master of Health Administration from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from R A Podar Medical (Ayurvedic) College.
