Alex Schaffer

Alex Schaffer is currently the Director of Marketing Underwriting at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, a role held since 2017 after progressing through various positions in the company. Previously, Alex served as a Reinsurance Account Manager and a Marketing Underwriter Consultant, where responsibilities included calculating premiums, managing client relationships, and conducting risk evaluations. Before joining RGA, Alex had experience as a Tax Preparer at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. and as a Truss Plant Controller Trainee at Midwest Manufacturing Company. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, earned in 2014.
