Christopher Winship

Christopher Winship is a seasoned professional in legislative and regulatory relations, currently serving as Vice President at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since September 2022, with a focus on Asia. Previously, Christopher held the position of Head of Government Relations for Asia at MetLife from April 2016 to November 2020. With extensive experience at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from January 2006 to March 2016, Christopher served as the U.S. Financial Attaché in Japan and held various directorial roles in the Office of East Asia. Christopher's early career includes valuable international economics experience, where responsibility encompassed analysis of financial sectors in Japan and Korea, as well as participating in post-9/11 efforts to combat terrorist financing. Christopher's academic background includes a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University.
