Cong Ren

Cong Ren is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in financial solutions and risk management. Currently serving as Executive Director & Actuary at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since October 2022, Cong Ren specializes in pricing for the Americas Financial Solutions. Prior experience includes a tenure at Transamerica from June 2014 to October 2022, where Cong Ren held various roles within Financial and Underwriting Risk Management, participated in the IFRS 17 Project team, and worked on Indexed Universal Life Pricing, Universal Life Valuation and Modeling, and Fixed Annuity Asset Liability Management. Earlier in career, Cong Ren gained practical experience as a part-time actuarial intern at Transamerica Financial Solutions, focusing on ongoing financial planning and valuation tasks. Cong Ren holds a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa and a BA in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of International Business and Economics.
