Gary Shia

Gary Shia currently serves as the Director of Pricing for APAC Financial Solutions at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, starting in September 2020. Prior to this role, Gary held various positions at EY from February 2014 to September 2020, including Senior Manager and Manager in Actuarial Services. Gary's experience also includes working as a Senior Actuarial Assistant at Allianz Life and as an Actuarial Intern at American Family Insurance and AXA Affin Insurance. Gary began a professional journey in actuarial science through academic roles, such as a Teaching Assistant at Drake University and a PASS Leader at Taylor's College. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Actuarial Science and Information Systems from Drake University and completed an American Degree Transfer Program at Taylor's University College.
