Melissa Schmitt is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in balance sheet optimization and traditional finance. Currently serving as Vice President of Balance Sheet Optimization and Vice President of Finance - US Traditional at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since October 2017, Melissa has also held the position of Executive Director in Finance. In addition, Melissa contributes to the Queen of Peace Center as Treasurer on the Board of Directors since December 2019. Prior experience includes a Senior Manager role at PwC from September 2003 to October 2017. Melissa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business from 1999 to 2003.
