Michael Sexton

Michael Sexton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and underwriting industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Underwriting for Managed Care Stop Loss Turnkey at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since March 2018, Michael leads key initiatives in this specialized sector. Prior to this role, Michael was the Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Risk Underwriters, LLC from August 2009 to March 2017, overseeing day-to-day operations and the strategic direction of the company, as well as managing underwriting and marketing for new and renewal business. Michael's career began as President of IndependenceCare Underwriting Services - Minneapolis, L.L.C. from February 1999 to August 2009. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, which was completed between 1977 and 1981.
